Course description:-

These courses are derived from both the Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction (MBSR) and the Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) courses.


You will be instructed and guided in simple meditation practices which may be seated, standing or lying down. We will also enjoy some Mindful Movement practices drawn from Yoga and Qi Gong. All movement will be gentle and non-strenuous.


You will then be invited to talk about the meditation experience for discussion in the group.  However, every aspect of this course is invitational.  You do not have to do anything if you do not wish to.  You can come to the course as an observer, but the benefit of the sessions may be reduced. It is perfectly alright to join in with the meditations but not with the discussions, if you so chose.  No one will be made to join in if they don’t want to.


You may like to bring a mat, blanket and pillow for your comfort. If you already meditate and have a cushion or stool, please feel free to bring those.  I would also suggest that you bring a drink, although water will be available to you.


I will provide you with all course materials such as the course handbook, CDs and downloads.

The Next Course Is:- March 2016 

Summary- Free Introduction to Mindfulness session, followed by eight, weekly, 2 hour sessions, and a one day retreat

Free Introduction meeting at the Angmering Library 21st of March 2016 at 7.30 til 9.00.

The course itself starts 4th of April 2016, 7.30 until 9.30, and will run for 8 consecutive weeks.

The course also includes a one day retreat, at the same venue, on Sunday, 8th of May 2016. This will start at 9.45 and finish at 4.00.  You are invited to bring a packed lunch, but tea, coffee and water will be made available to you. This day will offer you a deeper experience of Mindfulness, and will be lead by myself and other guest Mindfulness teachers.

I deliberately include the one day retreat as part of the course package because it is such a fundemental opportunity for you to explore the potential of Mindfulness and for you to get a real taste for longer practice. Previous course participants have said how much they have gained from the all day session.


The cost for the course will be £185 pp. p

The cost includes all the class dates, the days retreat, course workbook and access to guided meditations.

Pre booking is essential as spaces are strictly limited to ten participants per course. To reserve your place on this course you will need to pay a £50.00 non refundable deposit.  The balance of the payment will need to be made by the 28th of March, this will also be non refundable. After this date, I will become liable for the cost of the venue, and other costs associated with the running of the course.
